Community Water Well Project

Access to clean water is a fundamental right, yet many rural communities in The Gambia struggle with water scarcity. Our Community Water Well Project addresses this critical need by constructing and maintaining water wells in underserved areas. To date, we have completed 15 water well projects, providing clean drinking water to over 3,000 people. Each well is constructed using sustainable methods and includes proper maintenance plans to ensure long-term functionality. The project has transformed lives in these communities, reducing waterborne diseases and freeing up time (especially for women and children) that was previously spent fetching water from distant sources.
